About Us

K5 Sports began in the spring of 2007 under the direction of Aaron DeLoach (President of K5 Sports and pro soccer player), to shape the lives of kids through the influence of pro athletes and the sports they play. In January of 2010 K5 Sports began a second office in the Dallas/ Ft. Worth area under the direction of Aaron DeLoach. NCAA champion and international soccer tour director Mitch Sanford then took on the role of Charlotte Director.

Mission: To build character, confidence and active lifestyles in children through sports.

Vision: To see a national movement of K5 programs that produces athletes who serve as role models in their communities.

Strategy: K5 Sports impacts children through professionally designed after school sports programs, which are implemented by Professional athletes, collegiate athletes, and other qualified coaches across the nation.

Why?

It’s easy to see. Kids these days are busy logging hours on the internet, videogames, and TV’s. They are taking little time to be physically active, and spending plenty of time learning bad habits from some of the “not so good” role models in pro sports. K5 sports exists to be the alternative.

K5 combines the activity of sports and the influence of pro athletes to impact lives. We found the good role models, who had an interest in developing character, confidence, and active lifestyles in kids and put their skills to work.
